About Chantelle Love

Prior to being a team-lead at the International School of Addis Ababa and teaching at AISPP, I had the opportunity to work with countless schools around the world when I was a senior consultant for the global company NoTosh Ltd. Since then, a desire to be back working in a school community, has served to remind me of the beauty of learning together. This journey has enabled me to lead at ICS Addis through successfully piloting the PYP Innovation Hub and leading the Mathematics review. At AISPP, I led the integration of the v9.0 Australian Curriculum with PYP as well as orchestrating the process for the development of the Vision, Mission and Values, and Assessment policy. As a senior consultant, I created staff development programs for countless schools; provided a qualitative and quantitative data analyses for schools and departments, and worked with the students, staff, and their wider communities to co-design policies. I was recognised through The Educator Hot List 2020, and I received a commendation for my report, ‘What Works in STEM Works?’ that I was commissioned to produce for the Department for Education, South Australia. Since 2000, I have taught in and led learning communities in over 40 independent, catholic and public schools across Australia and internationally, leading to an unparalleled understanding of the education landscape and the importance of valuing each unique context. I continually challenge myself with leadership opportunities that benefit student learning. These opportunities have strengthened my skills in working effectively with teachers to grow their practices and to impact student learning.

I have a Bachelor of Education (primary) as well as a Cert III in Community Counselling. I serve as an innovative leader of learning and am committed to student growth.

It is my genuine belief that all students can learn, given a warm and professional learning environment that welcomes curiosity and enhances student confidence. I believe that when students have a safe learning culture, they look forward to attending school and becoming successful life-long learners. I am committed to developing and maintaining an environment that elicits deep learning; the learning of the students and the adults.
