I see a world in which learning experiences provoke young people to be internationally-minded forces for good together; participating proactively in global and local contexts.

My mission is to help young people to be life-ready and future-resilient.

As a learning experience coach and aspiring Curriculum/PYP Coordinator, I am passionate about leading collaborative teams of teachers and young people to create joyful, safe, and challenging personalized learning opportunities for all students. I believe that every learner has the potential to be a force for good in our world, and I am committed to helping them reach their full potential.

Professional Experience

Elementary Team Lead | ICS Addis | 2023 - Ongoing

Throughout my time at the International School of Addis Ababa, I have led the Grade 4 Innovation Hub responsible for pioneering education practices that focussed on personalisation, student-choice, transdisciplinary learning, and learner efficacy. By cultivating a team vision and using revolutionary collaborative practices including weekly ‘research moments’ alongside critical analyses of student growth, we have managed to put young people’s agency first in a world that wants to make them into a ‘result’. I worked closely with my team to develop and evaluate innovative learning solutions using best-fit pedagogy, the PYP curriculum, and technology. I actively supported leadership in the implementation of Toddle and Toddle AI by facilitating revolutionary collaborative planning sessions for teachers, guiding them in unpacking PYP planners, designing inquiry cycles, and integrating ATL skills and Learner Profile attributes. Our team has collaborated to empower young people to actively participate in developing visible success progressions for their learning, encouraging greater ownership of their learning. I co-led the EY-12 Mathematics Review through a thorough community engagement model. I support whole-school endeavours through coaching the Varsity Girls Rugby Team.

WORKSHOPS AND ONLINE LEARNING:  Responsive Classrooms (2023), Toddle Ties Presenter (2023), Measuring What Matters (2023), The Sustainability Compass (2024), Leading and Managing Teams (IB, 2024), Inquiry in Action (2024), Adaptive Schools (2025).

PYP Teacher | AISPP | 2021 - 2023

As a teacher at Australian International School of Phnom Penh, I was instrumental in driving the integration of the Australian Curriculum v.9 with the PYP; planning and leading a whole-school workshop to help teachers understand and develop a cohesive curriculum. This resulted in a clearer progression of conceptual understanding for teachers, young people, and their wider community. To follow-up this workshop, I provided peer coaching on hexagonal curriculum mapping using the IBPYP and Australian Curriculum standards which enabled teachers to find authentic transdisciplinary opportunities for themselves. I spearheaded the integration of design and systems thinking into PYP units, making the curriculum more relevant and engaging for students. In preparation for AISPP’s CIS review, I helped lead the rewriting of our Guiding Statements, the development of our Assessment Policy, and the ATL Continuum to reflect the PYP's focus on transdisciplinary learning and holistic student development.

WORKSHOPS AND ONLINE LEARNING:  Lead, Learn, Connect -Aleda (2021),

Senior Consultant | NoTosh | 2017-2021

As a Senior Consultant with NoTosh, I coached over 40 schools worldwide to build teacher capacity to think critically and creatively about curriculum development, using inquiry-based learning, and facilitating PLCs in action change projects. I used a variety of strategies, including workshops, coaching, and documentation, to help teachers and leaders develop their critical thinking and creativity skills, and I facilitated PLCs in which teachers could collaborate on curriculum design, inquiry-based learning projects, collaboration, innovative learning environments (ILEs) and action change projects. This included, but was not limited to, the co-development of new curriculum planners and resources for teachers, incorporating updated pedagogical approaches and enhancing the integration of transdisciplinary thinking. School leaders often shared about how “onboard” their staff were following the projects that I led. One school commented, after a large curriculum redesign project, that, bar one, all staff had embraced the new and significant changes they had implemented. I was also instrumental in helping our NoTosh team pivot from F2F models and into online facilitation models that continue to form the back-bone of NoTosh to this day.

Community Leader & Teacher | Northern Beaches Christian School | 2007 - 2015

As Community Leader of Stage 3, I transformed a hub of 6 classes and 8 teachers from siloed, didactic practice to a collaborative community where teachers co-planned, co-taught, and personalized student learning through flexible groupings and student-agentic learning matrices. I used a GROWTH coaching model to empower teachers to have an active voice and contribute to the vision of NBCS and led transdisciplinary curriculum co-design projects to help teachers build their knowledge and capacity in the Australian Curriculum v9.0 alongside evidence-informed pedagogy. To engage our community in the learning at NBCS and raise awareness of innovative teaching practices, I organized F2F gatherings and social media campaigns.
